Waste diverted.
Credits created.
Climate wins.

Every tonne of solid waste we keep out of dumpsites and burning piles becomes a verified carbon credit on the Gold Standard registry.

Carbon credits explained

Real emissions avoided. Real credits issued.

What is a carbon credit?

One carbon credit represents one tonne of CO₂-equivalent emissions avoided or removed. Buying a credit funds the activity that prevented the emission.

Why waste management?

Waste burned or dumped in open sites releases methane and CO₂. When that waste is properly managed instead, those emissions never happen — and the difference is measurable.

Why Gold Standard?

Gold Standard is the most rigorous carbon credit certification in the world. Credits issued under it are independently verified and permanently recorded on a public registry.

Carbon credit documentation

Gold Standard Registry

All Supacare credits are listed on the Gold Standard registry — publicly traceable, independently verified.

Sustainable Development Goals

One project. Four SDGs.

Supacare credits don't just offset emissions — they fund waste infrastructure that benefits communities directly and contributes to Kenya's national climate commitments.

SDG 3

Good Health

Less open burning means cleaner air for families living near waste sites.

SDG 11

Sustainable Cities

Organised waste systems make urban and peri-urban areas more liveable.

SDG 13

Climate Action

Every verified credit is a tonne of emissions that never reached the atmosphere.

SDG 15

Life on Land

Keeping waste off land protects soil, water, and local ecosystems.
